I haven’t tried that Rick. My guess is that it would partition the results but that it would fail to order by expected_at (for those records having a non-NULL expected_at).

Thanks for the update François. The primary value of Piston for me is that update command though. So it looks like I’ll just have to do manual vendor branch management until 2.0 arrives.

Hello Bill!

Just for your info, Piston 1.9.3 (what will become Piston 2.0) does support importing from both Git and SVN. I use it like a charm for projects both versioned under Git and Subversion. The only real problem right now is piston update, which isn’t implemented at all. But the rest works just fine.

just installed the pukkadita bookmarklet and found it doesn’t work at all with google reader with safari or firefox. firebug returns the following error message: “t.firstChild.firstChild.childNodes.item(1) is null”

it does work properly when not using greader. thanks.

There are certainly other options for unobtrusive JS. I’ve done a complex Ajax application with Mootools, unobtrusive-style coding, and PHP.

i am a rails developer, and i’m not a fan of rjs. in fact, i started w/ ruby, then rails, then got tired of rjs and a lot of the mixing of xhtml, css, and javascript that is the out-of-the-box rails experience. i appreciate the ’shield rails programmers from any non-ruby/rails code’, and they’ve done a fantastic job w/ most of it. but, i just went ahead and learned js and use that exclusively. i will at minimum, use jquery for it’s document.ready() and a lot of the features that libraries excel at: cross-browser issues. and at maximum, i love the chaining. 1 line to take care of what 10 lines of pojs does is hard to argue against.

plus, jquery.min is *tiny* compared to the :defaults that rails wants you to use. and you can choose to load only the plugins you want on a per-site basis.

Couldn’t you define Class.method_added to check for the methods and do the mixin?
